APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Please have all documents and answers to the questions ready to upload before entering the information. This application does not have a save feature. Any information placed on this form will not be saved if you end your session before completing. Successful applications must meet the following criteria to qualify:
- Must be a high school graduating senior or a collegiate student
- Possess a minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 on 4.0 scale
- Must be majoring in Education
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
You should have the following documents ready for upload before you begin this application:
Essay/Personal Statement
Upload or enter an essay/personal statement which addresses the following question.
- What are your educational and career goals?
- How will receiving this scholarship assist you in achieving those goals?
- Choose ONE of the following areas and explain how you will use your career to create social change?
Areas: Economics, Education, Health, International Involvement, or Civic Engagement.
Personal statement should be not exceed two and a half typewritten pages.
In addition, you are required to obtain two letters of recommendation and an official transcript (each in sealed envelopes). These items must be mailed to our office, in one large envelope, and be received no later than March 23, 2021.
Two Recommendation Letters:
- A letter of recommendation from an academic officer (dean, teacher/professor counselor/advisor) must accompany this application.
- A letter of recommendation from a leader of a civic, community, or fraternal organization in your community must accompany this application.
Both letters must be written on official letterhead stationery. Mail your complete package (letters, transcript, and personal statement) to:
